NATALIE KILIÇ
ABOUT
Natalie Kılıç is a NYC-based artist and songwriter making alternative pop shaped by her Turkish and Southern American roots. Growing up between two distinct musical and cultural worlds, her sound draws from the melodies and instrumentation of Turkish music alongside the storytelling traditions of the American South, wrapped in a unique alternative pop sensibility. Her music moves between intimacy and intensity, pairing atmospheric production with raw, emotionally direct lyricism.
Her sophomore EP, everything screams when it dies, explores love, grief, attachment, and the messy ways we hold onto people and things long after we know we should let them go. Throughout the project, Kılıç uses visceral, often violent body imagery to make sense of complicated emotions, exploring the blurred lines between love, loss, and destruction.
Created in collaboration with producers and songwriters including Miette Hope and Tiger Darrow, the EP brings together intimate songwriting, experimental production, and a sound that shifts between vulnerability and tension.
Kılıç's music has previously been featured on Apple Music's New in Alternative, and she has performed at venues including The Masquerade in Atlanta and Bowery Palace in New York.
